The Valiar Mansion is a novel created by the South African artist, Ezelle Van Der Heever. The animation trailer for the novel is being produced by The Golden Bell Studios, and you can find more information about them at https://www.goldenbellstudios.com/. I had the opportunity to work as an In-betweener intern during the production of the trailer. In addition to that, I helped with animation for a few scenes and later on, I also assisted with shading. This was my first experience using Toon Boom Harmony, and it helped me to improve my animation skills and knowledge of the software. The internship lasted around three years, from 2017 to 2020. The next work is the one I am currently on. It is an animation called "O Bicho que eu tinha medo" (The creature that I was afraid of). It is being produced by a Brazilian studio called AnimAll Studios. I am in charge of creating and implementing the Rigs for all the characters and it has been a lot of fun. In this wonderful project, I had the opportunity to work on Building Episodic Rigs for the characters of the second season of the series. I had several characters to rig or adapt every week meeting the deadlines and addressing the feedback from both the Supervisors and the animation department.
The colorful designs and the amusing humor of the TV show made it impossible to not have fun working on this project.
